Stephen is the founder and president of Estate Planning
Consultants of Hawaii, Inc. (“EPCH”), established in 1997. Providing estate, financial, and tax planning services, EPCH has successfully served over 2,000 Hawaii families. Stephen co-authored the 2011 book edition titled, “How to Protect Your Family’s Assets from Devastating Nursing Home Costs” with EPCH Senior Attorney Reed Rohrer. Reed B. Rohrer
Reed has devoted his 30-year legal career to providing elder law legal services for Hawaii families. He has concentrated in the areas of estate planning, probate, trusts, wills, and has advised many large corporations and served in officer and directors capacities. Senior Plan Attorney Reed Rohrer has helped hundreds of EPCH clients save their valuable homes and assets from the ever-rising costs of nursing home care. Reed joined Estate Planning Consultants of Hawaii in 2008.
Born and raised on Oahu, Sasha earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Chaminade University with a major in Psychology and minor in Criminology, ranking in the Top Ten of her class and earning the prestigious honors of Summa Cum Laude. Upon graduation, Sasha obtained her Life Insurance license to work alongside her father at Estate Planning Consultants of Hawaii where she spent several years. In 2010, she decided to explore a career in real estate joining Ohana Beach Rentals Hawaii, Oahu’s largest luxury rental company. Developing a sense for the market, Sasha quickly became the top selling agent in the company, exceeding weekly sales goals and generating unprecedented rental income for her owners. After two successful years, Sasha put real estate on hold and set forth to start her own venture. Partnering with her mother, they formed an online boutique called Beach Wahine, a unique clothing and accessories shop emphasizing local brands and designers from abroad. Gaining national and international recognition, Sasha learned the skills and expertise necessary to build and maintain a growing and successful business.
Sage Capone, born and raised on Oahu, received his Finance degree at UH Manoa's Shidler College of Business. His role at Estate Planning Consultant of Hawaii for the past 8 years has been to help his clients with investment needs, insurance planning and estate settling. He is dedicated in ensuring his clients along with their ohana secure their families' financial futures. He believes in putting the same amount of passion in working with people from his years of competitive sports. Whether it is paddling in the 2016 and 2017 Molokai Hoe race or coaching volleyball for the past 8 years at his local kids clinic, East Oahu Volleyball. His goal and passion is to help assist in ending financial illiteracy by passing on a few tools of advice which will enable you to make smarter and lifelong decisions for your families future. Michael J. Madison
Mike was born in Salem Massachusetts and raised in southern New Hampshire. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Boston College and his law degree from Suffolk University. He has experience working on tax litigation at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and tax compliance at a big four accounting firm. More recently he served as of counsel at Allred, Wilcox & Hartley. He moved to Hawaii and joined Estate Planning Consultants of Hawaii in 2016.
V. R. Ikaika Jobe
Ikaika was born and raised in Hawaii and attended Punahou School. He studied aviation science at Saint Louis University while obtaining his pilot’s license and graduated with a business marketing degree from Boise State University. Ikaika traveled the world as a touring tennis professional for three years prior to entering the William S. Richardson School of Law and graduated with a focus on trust & estate law. Following law school, Ikaika gained valuable experience serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Derrick H. M. Chan, who at the time was the Chief Judge of the First Circuit and presided over the probate and trust court calendars. After his judicial clerkship, Ikaika joined a large private law firm located in downtown Honolulu where he practiced for several years in the firm’s Estate Planning Practice Group.
